QPR and Brentford among sides considering summer move for non-league winger

According to HITC Sport, Championship duo Queens Park Rangers and Brentford are interested in Woking winger Reggie Young, who is currently on loan with FC Farnborough.

Championship sides QPR and Brentford are both eyeing up a possible move for Woking starlet Reggie Young, who has been catching the eyes of potential suitors while on loan with FC Farnborough. League One side Gillingham have also been linked with a possible move for Young this summer.

19-year-old winger Young has been impressing in his time at Farnborough in the Evo-Stik South Premier Division South. The Woking youngster has netted seven goals and provided five assists so far this season after joining Farnborough in October, helping them into 8th place after 30 games.

He started his career in the academy with football league side Wimbledon but left the club in the summer of 2017, making no appearances for the club. A few months after leaving Wimbledon, Young was snapped up by National League side Woking.

Since his arrival at the club, the 19-year-old has made 10 appearances for the club, coming off the bench 10 times prior to his move to Farnborough.

Last summer, he signed a one-year deal with the club and will be out of contract at the end of this season, and football league clubs are eyeing up a possible move for the forward as they look to bring him in on the cheap.

QPR, Brentford and League One outfit Gillingham are the sides reported to be interested in the striker, but the report from HITC Sport says that a number of clubs from the football league have been keeping an eye on Young during his time at Farnborough.
